I loved this story Upon realizing it was a short story I was worried that it would be all action and not give us enough time to get back story I was pleasantly surprised to find that it had excellent pacing and was never boring The characters are relatable and well rounded Excited to read the next installment but brace your selves, the story is addicting and ends with a cliffhanger Turaeud Has Just Lost Her GrandfatherWell, Sort OfAfter Years Of Taking Care Of Her Grandfather The Time Had Come For Someone Else To Take Over Enter The Beauregard Senior Assisted Living Community It S Posh, It Let S Him Have His Freedom, And Its Only A Few Blocks Away From Home It S Perfect And Convenient To Bad Her Grandfather Never Actually Gets To Enjoy It It S Sad But It S A Part Of Life And She Is Slowly ✓ Scribe ✓ Download by ✓ S. Scribe is a very powerful introduction to the descendants of the Scribe featured in Vexed Some of the text from Vexed is included in Scribe and there is absolutely no mistaking that the two short stories are part of one another Tari is a snarky character that also has a softer side when dealing with the last relative she has her grandfather She has reservations about placing him the Assisted Living Center but knows that this place is what s best for both of them Only, he leaves cryptic messages regarding items in the attic and then mysteriously comes to her in a dream the same night that he s placed in the home What follows is nothing short of sadand includes a little bit of intrigue Guided by the nurse, Tari is forced to go into the attic to obtain any, and all of grandpa s official documents That way, when the day These needed a professional editor so badly it hurt to read. Could have been a good story read them as an anthology though Glad it was free.
This books starts off with a girl named Tari and her Grandpe, or grandpa, packing up to go to an old folks home The old man and her have a cute relationship, and I really enjoyed the cheeky banter back and forth I liked how the old man dragged his favorite, old chair with him to his new place Tari works at a shop where this girl who s kind of strange gives her this weird pouch full of herbs to help her sleep When she falls asleep she enters a whole new place Unsure if it s a dream or reality Tari is brought to Egypt where a scene unfolds in front of her eyes of two women Tari is forbidden by her grandpe to go into the attic but when something happens she has to break his wishes She discovers a letter and a stone that has information about who she truly is. I thought this book was good I loved the relationship the gir Scribe starts off slow, and as it picks up it really sets its own pace It s a comfortable read and I really found it enjoyable I found the dialog and relationships sharp, well defined, and vividly real Example It s like you are oozing magic Tari rolled her eyes Yes I am an all powerful witch, she said sarcastically No Not a witch, but something I can t explain it It s as if magic is your friend, Ivy continued She was staring at Tari but not at her Tari was getting ready to ask her if she was ok when the door to the store chimed warning of a customer s arrival And apparently Vodka is your friend You may want to lay off the alcohol home girl, she ended the conversation to go help the new arrival Just perfect I mean perfect. I m never one to give plot spoilers, and that s not about to change now, but the Spirit Walk was awesome Just awesome. If you are looking for a good short read with
